Jayne & Tristan's Wedding
It was a real honour to shoot this beautiful wedding at Pembroke Lodge for such a lovely couple. I arrived at the Petersham Hotel where Jayne was getting ready and immediately stole her shoes to use the grand entrance hall for those beautiful detail shots. Getting to the bridal preparations early is really important to me as these special moments before the ceremony run by so fast – having good shots to remember the morning is crucial.
The wedding party was intimate and full of emotion – something I needed to capture. I work with Canon dSLR equipment, and top of the range professional lenses so getting in close, or in poor light conditions is never a problem. Jayne and Tristan look so happy in these photographs – I know that as the years go on, just looking at these images will trigger the emotions they felt on the day – as a photographer that is something I feel incredibly proud of.
What a party they had afterwards! As more guests arrived for the evening entertainment, the band began playing, and people started dancing. Some photographers leave immediately after the first dance, but I stay for as long as you want me. Having professional images from the party makes such a difference – you can really see how much fun everybody is having.
